Most lasting, to me, is knowing what the causes are and preventing them from happening. My vote is for prevention strategies. Eating raw/little to unprocessed foods, exercise 5 times a week for 30 mins or more, using items that are safe for my body to absorb (avoiding coming into contact with chemicals or lotions with parabens on my skin, not microwaving anything in plastic containers, avoiding being near anything that puts out a lot of electricity whenever possible)
Interestingly, the medical use of the term “prevention” often refers to medical procedures or tests which detect disease. The lay terminology refers to steps a person can take to actually prevent disease from happening. Glad you pointed this out and unfortunately, this poll taker does not post the added “other” items. We will see how this goes today….
